The short version
Goldlet is a calculator. It does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not transmit your data to us or to any third party. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing about you. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, device identifiers, advertising IDs, location, contacts, photos, or any other personally identifiable information.
What is stored on your device
To remember your preferences between sessions, Goldlet saves a small number of settings in the app's local storage on your device. These include:
- Your preferred language (English or Arabic).
- Your selected country / market.
- The spot price per ounce that you last entered.
- The timestamp of the last manual price update.
This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app or tapping Reset to Defaults in Settings clears it.
Analytics, tracking, and ads
Goldlet contains no analytics SDKs, no third-party trackers, and no advertising. We do not use cookies, pixels, fingerprinting, or any tracking technology, in the app or on this website.
Network use
Goldlet does not require an internet connection for its core calculator features. Spot prices shown in the app are values you enter yourself. If a future update adds optional online features, this policy will be updated and the data flow disclosed before those features are enabled.
Children
Goldlet is suitable for general audiences. Because we do not collect personal information from any user, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children either.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of the local data on your device and can erase it at any time by resetting defaults or uninstalling the app.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be highlighted in the app's release notes.
